Collecting Memories
Museums, Libraries and Archives across the region have vast experience with intergenerational learning. They can help
- planning: helping with ideas, contacts and information as well as methodological advice about issues such as copyright and gaining permissions
- support: providing objects, documents, images, books and equipment. They can offer inspiring spaces to learn, displays to stimulate memories for all generations, and contacts to collect memories from
- outreach: bringing resources and people to schools- working alongside schools and their projects
- maintaining a legacy: providing a safe place for recordings and transcripts so that memories will be safe for ever
